Bashir Alabi Ali is a Lecturer I in the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology at Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria, where he has served since 2018. He holds an M.Sc. in Botany (Phycology) from Bayero University Kano and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at Federal University Dutse. His research spans plant pathology, ethnobotany, phycology, and natural products chemistry, with over twenty peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. He has presented at conferences in Nigeria and Turkey, and serves on several institutional committees, including as Chairman of the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee.
Research interests: Ethnobotany, Plant pathology, Mycology, green energy, Environmental toxicology, phycology, and natural products.
